He's been called a lyrical Lauriate. He's been compared to Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen for his lyrical gaming. A genuine lone punk troubadour with an uncluttered singular mission, Mick has been on the road for thirty five years. Living in the UK, the USA and now back in Canada he continues to write and perform his unique minimalist gems with an unending passion for song and it's ability to ignite and unite almost any audience in any venue. Even if they haven't heard the songs before, they still sing along with his catchy and quirky choruses.
"...From Toronto to Tokyo. New York to New Orleans. You can always fit a uke in a backpack. Sometimes two. I've spent my life wandering and singing songs I wrote. I just have one job to do. I like it simple that way...
...I always record on the go. Wherever I am with whatever I got. The uke here is the fifteen buck pink Mahalo I rescued from somebody who didn't want it."
